Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc./M.Sc. in CSE/IT/MIS/Software Engineering/ECE/EEE or equivalent and relevant engineering degree.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Deploy updates and fixes.
∎ Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve user experience.
∎ Perform root cause analysis for production errors.
∎ Investigate and resolve technical issues.
∎ Develop scripts to automate visualization.
∎ Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
∎ Set up tools and required infrastructure.
∎ Collaborate with cross functional teams.
∎ Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline).
∎ Roll out fixes and upgrades to software, as needed.
∎ Implement and improve monitoring and alerting (eg, Zabbix, AppDynamics, AppOptics, etc.).
∎ Build and maintain highly available systems on Kubernetes/Docker.
∎ Implement an auto-scaling system for our Kubernetes nodes.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 50 years
∎ 8 years of work experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
∎ The applicant must be a non-smoker.
∎ Working experience in Microfinance field will be considered as an advantage.
∎ Must have very strong analysis and synthesis skills.
∎ Must be proactive and able to execute tasks efficiently.
∎ Smart and well-conversant with professionalism.
∎ Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bengali.
∎ Working knowledge of databases and SQL.
∎ Problem solving and 'can-do' attitude.
∎ Experienced in working on cloud environments like AWS, Azure, etc.
∎ Experienced in configuring and deploying application with CI/CD tools like Jenkins/Team City/Go/Gitlab, etc.
∎ Experienced in cross platform shell scripting (Windows, Linux).
∎ Experience in working in phython will be considered as an added advantage.
∎ Knowledge on Infrastructure provisioning automation like Terraform.
Salary: Negotiable
