Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in CSE, EEE, ETE, Telecommunication
∎ Understanding the concept of SIEM and SOC workflow
∎ Understanding of Computer networking fundamentals
∎ Strong time management and communication skills
∎ Proven ability to work in a team environment
∎ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
∎ Understanding of cyber security attacks and workflow
∎ Good understanding of security architecture
∎ Ability to prioritize tasks
∎ Hands-on experience in day-to-day SOC tasks
∎ Programming Knowledge on various web technologies
∎ Good knowledge on bash scripting and Python
∎ Skills Required: CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate), CEH, Cyber Security, Firewall
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Monitor, detect and investigate the operational status of monitoring components
∎ Analyze IT security events, alert, incident in simulated lab environment
∎ Research on emerging threats, global SOC practices, Use cases
∎ Generates update report and knowledge transfer to subsequent analysts
∎ Conduct KTS session on specific topic individuals researched
∎ Prepares briefings and reports of analysis methodology and results
∎ Understanding, identifying, and researching IOCs
∎ Performing technical analysis of threats, vulnerabilities
∎ Assist teal leads in reporting, managing, and responding to incident
∎ Communicate effectively with team leads
∎ Other projects and responsibilities, as assigned by direct supervisor
∎ Has to be flexible and be available for the various shift
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 20 to 35 years
∎ Bachelors in IT is preferred
∎ Following certifications are preferred, Security+, CCNA, CEH
∎ Knowledge on offensive security tactics
∎ Knowledge on firewall, antivirus, IDPS concepts
