Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and safety standards.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and BOQs.

• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Strong problem-solving ability and capability to work under pressure.

• Team player with leadership qualities.

Job Description: Fortis Builders Limited is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Site Engineer to supervise and monitor construction site activities. The incumbent will ensure project quality, safety, and timely completion in accordance with company standards and client requirements.

Job Location

• Dhaka (with frequent site presence required)

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day site activities, ensuring work progress as per design and schedule.

• Monitor construction quality, safety standards, and compliance with project specifications.

• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and workers for smooth site operations.

• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and update the Project Manager.

• Ensure proper use of materials, manpower, and equipment at the project site.

• Assist in resolving technical/site issues and provide on-site solutions when required.

• Verify drawings, layouts, and measurements before execution.

• Maintain accurate site documentation including labor attendance, material usage, and work records.

• Report any project delays, risks, or issues to the supervisor in a timely manner.
