Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: Right Here Right Now (RHRN) is a global strategic partnership that is active in ten countries, and BRAC is the lead organization for the Bangladesh Coalition. It is envisioned that young people in all their diversity enjoy their sexual and reproductive health and rights in gender-just societies. The position is responsible for designing and implementing programs and initiatives that promote and protect the sexual and reproductive health and rights of young people with a focus on Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) nationwide.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide strategic & operational support to the project team and partners in the quality delivery of the SRHR component of the project focusing on young people
∎ Design and co-lead the national advocacy effort on Comprehensive Sexual Education (CSE) and young people's sexual and reproductive health rights with relevant policymakers and key stakeholders
∎ Provide Government and nongovernmental organization (NGO) counterparts with technical assistance and advice on evidence-based approaches and strategic directions for strengthening the SRHR related policies including the CSE implementation.
∎ Support the development, implementation and periodic review of the SRHR including CSE components of the project, including engagement with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
∎ Engage in regional and international SRHR specialized spaces by organizing campaign, webinar, meetings, workshops, sessions on SRHR and CSE
∎ Provide technical support to coalition partners in facilitating local and national level events to advocate for young people's sexual reproductive health rights
∎ Monitor the national policy environment and keep the platform updated on key SRHR developments relevant to the platform
∎ Facilitate linking with other existing SRHR initiatives relevant to the work of the platform, seeking alignment and harmonization, building synergies and avoiding duplication.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years of working experiences on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), young people, experience with project management, national advocacy and providing technical support to health and SRHR projects
∎ Excellent English (written and oral) communication skills
∎ Capture lesson learnt, reporting and troubleshooting under challenging situation
∎ Analytical view on ToC, Logical framework, project organogram
∎ Understanding on research tools and participatory MEAL approach
∎ Skills in using modern technology - MS Word (Windows), Excel, Access and data analysis packages, e.g., SPSS, and familiar with PowerPoint, and ICT4D.
∎ Strong facilitator, connector, communicator and leadership skills
∎ Theoretical understanding on sexual and reproductive health rights,
∎ Able to communicate clearly and effectively appropriate to the audience on SRHR issues
∎ Advance understanding on theory of change, logical framework, M&E plan
∎ Data collection tools, project development and staff capacity building
∎ Sound experience in the field of Human Rights and Social Accountability
∎ Solid understanding of SRHR issues in Bangladesh and good understanding of the national policy landscape
∎ Familiar with International treaties and agreement (CEDAW, ICPD, CRC, and other related international agreements)
∎ Work under pressure, meet deadline and carry out project results to showcase
∎ Familiarity with updated software, MS package and communication gateway
∎ Adaptability, Teamwork, Relationship Building & Change Management
∎ 5 years of working experience in the relevant field will be preferred.
