Job Responsibilities:
∎ Experienced and technical know-how to set up and run modern Sewing machines using Sunrise Transport System Intelligence for Apparel.
∎ Operate single. Double, multi-needle, or other sewing machines to repair finished apparel and/or other products.
∎ Perform sewing duties (i.e. reinforce seams, attach buttons, hooks, repair zippers, etc.)
∎ Assist in different aspects of the department to assure workflow (i.e. labeling, quality control/assurance, steam/press of products going through the Repair department)
∎ Assist and ensure that daily production quotas are met and Identify/maintain product integrity and quality of work at all times
∎ May perform minor maintenance of machinery as necessary and Maintain a safe and clean work environment
∎ At least a high school graduate or vocational graduate in any technical field.
∎ Knowledgeable of how to change sewing needles for multiple gauge style.
∎ Able to make sewing plan per line, balancing the load of each line in accordance with buyer style and production planning.
∎ Knowledgeable and experienced on how to identify and prevent sewing defects
∎ Technical know-how on setting up sewing tension in accordance with sewing chart
∎ Monitoring the total sewing output of the day.
∎ Recommend any line improvement as necessary.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 26 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Can speak Chinese mandarin for easy communication to the buyer
Salary: Negotiable
