Responsibilities & Context:
∎ • Monitoring Quality from fabric inspection, In-process and quality assurance for Final inspection prior to shipping.
∎ • Directly communicate with fabric mill for any fabric issues (GSM, shade variation, fabric defects, etc.) & effective follow up monitoring status for the resolution.
∎ • Facilitate sample approval process to ensure samples are made to follow tech pack and specs requirement.
∎ • Address technical issues to provide advised and guidance to vendor.
∎ • Control and reduce the fit approval rate.
∎ • Collaborate with merchandising team to achieve on time delivery.
∎ • Ensures sample quality meet brand’s construction and aesthetic standards.
∎ • Ensures internal or external technician teams are trained on necessary processes, procedures and techniques to fulfil the buyer requirements based on each buyer quality guidelines.
∎ • Champion for leading a Quality team who can provide training, coaching and quality improvement to production processes.
∎ • Conducts a regular Internal Factory Audit in preparation for buyer’s or 3rd party’s audit using QMS for each buyer requirement.
∎ • Provides corrective action and preventive action plan to all non-conformance issues
∎ • Directs correspondence to buyer for any quality issue
∎ • Reviews QC file for each style per buyer requirement and suggest any improvement on production process and or procedures that would be impacted the quality outcome
∎ • Handles updates with management and developed plans for production schedules and delivery dates, optimizing resource allocation and workflow
∎ • Works directly with customers’ technical representatives to understand and address specific requirements and expectations
∎ • Monitor quality standards throughout production processes, implementing corrective actions as needed to maintain high quality outcomes
∎ • Closely collaborate with merchandisers to communicate production requirements, timelines, and updates
∎ • Managed and implemented customers’ standards and requirements throughout production, ensuring compliance and customer satisfaction
∎ • Conducts PPM, Check Pilot Run, In-line inspection and assure quality of products for shipment.
∎ • Responsible for sample evaluation ( PP samples, Top Samples, etc.)
∎ • Closely monitoring and examining each stage of the entire production process.
∎ • Segregating non-conforming parts in accordance with written quality procedures.
