Experience:

• 5 to 8 years

• Bachelor of Science (Bsc) in Mechanical Engineering/ Diploma in Mechanical/ Diploma in Electrical.

• Install, configure, and adjust textile and sewing machinery according to specifications.

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on machines to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues on sewing machines, and perform necessary repairs or replacements of faulty components.

• Test newly repaired or adjusted machinery to verify its functioning correctly and safely before returning it to production.

• Maintain a supply of spare parts, order new ones as needed, and manage inventory.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs performed, and parts used.

• Train machine operators on the proper use and basic maintenance of the sewing machines.

• Ensure the workplace is clean and organized, and that machinery is safe to operate.

• Expertise in using a variety of hand and power tools.

• Clear communication skills to report issues, explain repairs, and train operators.
