Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Software Engineer (Python) to join our growing FinTech development team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building scalable financial applications and APIs using modern Python frameworks, and a deep understanding of the fintech domain. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining backend systems that power our financial services platforms.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure Python-based web applications and APIs.
- Work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and other engineers to gather and implement technical requirements.
- Implement and maintain microservices and event-driven architectures.
- Ensure code quality and performance through code reviews, automated testing, and best practices.
- Integrate third-party APIs such as payment gateways, KYC, AML, and banking APIs.
- Optimize application performance and scalability in a high-load environment.
- Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment with regular sprints, stand-ups, and reviews.
- Write and maintain documentation for code and system design.
- Mentor junior engineers and participate in technical decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and data security standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR, ISO 27001).
