Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelors or Master's degree in Psychology/ Social Science from from any recognized university.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Counseling, Psycho social support (PSS)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Offer individual and group based Psychosocial Support sessions.
∎ Develop an action plan of PSS activities, topics and other type of interventions with the group based on '4 tier PSS intervention.
∎ Support the client to identify short-term and long-term goals as part of a holistic package of PSS care; Ensuring that all care plan activities have, time lines, and referral to support services where necessary.
∎ Refer clients to Psychiatrists where necessary.
∎ Facilitate community based Psychosocial activities and support groups for clients with more specific needs.
∎ Facilitate trainings of Psychological First Aid and GBV Guiding Principles.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

∎ Age at least 18 years
∎ knowledge:
∎ Have knowledge or willingness to learn and challenge oneself and others regarding gender roles, power relationships and gender-based violence
∎ Needs experience and skills in working with leaders and influencers in the community.
∎ Patient, persuasive and have the confidence and experience needed to be taken seriously by leaders
∎ Needs to understand community dynamics and how power flows through the community and need to be willing to let the male engagement community groups be in the spotlight.
∎ Deep knowledge on Violence against women (VAW) and Male as Ally
∎ Knowledge on basic Gender issues
∎ Skills:
∎ Leadership skills and supervisory experience, including the ability to develop team
∎ performance
∎ Communication & Coordination Skills
∎ Interpersonal Skills: Empathetic and Assertive, Problem-Solving Skills.
∎ Familiarity with principles of monitoring & evaluation.
∎ Experience in writing brief narrative reports
∎ Able to work collaboratively with internal staff and external providers
∎ Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
∎ Competencies:
∎ TEAM Player, Adaptability, Compassion etc.
∎ Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
∎ Ability to manage and coordinate with internal and external departments
∎ Ability to analyze and interpret data.
