The Senior Production Officer will be responsible for overseeing the critical yarn dyeing production process, ensuring high-quality output, efficient operations, and color accuracy, particularly in sample development. This role requires strong technical knowledge in yarn dyeing, excellent leadership skills for shift management, and meticulous attention to shade matching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shade Matching & Sample Development (Core Responsibility)-

• Primary Duty: Accurately perform shade matching and color development on all sample dyeing machines (Lab and Pilot Lot) to meet customer specifications and approval standards.

• Conduct continuous testing and correction of dye recipes to achieve the required color fastness and physical properties.

• Ensure smooth and timely transition of approved sample shades to bulk production.

• Production Planning & Execution-

• Supervise the daily operation of the Yarn Dyeing Section to ensure production targets are met efficiently and within quality parameters.

• Manage the inventory and proper consumption of dyes, chemicals, and auxiliary materials.

• Monitor and control the dyeing process parameters (temperature, pressure, time) for optimal results.

• Section Follow-up & Coordination-

• Conduct rigorous follow-up and coordination with the Hard Winding and Soft Winding sections to ensure smooth material flow, quality control, and timely preparation of yarn for dyeing and post-dyeing processes.

• Liaise with the Quality Control (QC) and Maintenance teams to minimize machine downtime and maintain quality standards.

• Shift Management & Leadership-

• Serve as the Shift In-charge for both Day and Night shifts on a rotational basis, managing and supervising the production floor personnel.

• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training and guidance to operators and helpers.

• Maintain discipline, safety standards, and a healthy working environment within the section.

• Documentation & Reporting-

• Maintain accurate records of all sample dyeing trials, recipe modifications, and production batches.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management, highlighting performance, wastage, and quality issues.

• Required Qualifications & Skills-

• Experience: Minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience in a similar role within a large-scale yarn dyeing or textile factory in Bangladesh.

• Technical Skills: Deep practical knowledge of various dyeing machines, color science, and shade matching techniques.

• Other: Ability to work effectively under pressure, strong problem-solving skills, and flexibility to work rotating shifts (Day/Night).
