Job Responsibilities:
∎ Scrutiny of import documents in the context of LC terms, ICC norms & practice and local regulations covering Sanction Screening and Vessel Tracking
∎ To ensure that import documents are retired as per terms of the credit approval and those documents are properly sorted, endorsed and delivered to the client timely; also to ensure that payment information are reported to PCS in a timely manner
∎ To ensure that PAD (EDF) adjustment are done timely, notifications are given to the RM for arranging EDF facility line timely, EDF loans are booked correctly and timely
∎ To ensure that maturity date of the EDF loans are followed up properly for timely repayment to Bangladesh Bank and processing of EDF loan extension request
∎ To ensure that calculation of worksheet for repayment of EDF loan are prepared and submitted to Bangladesh Bank through ID correctly and timely and also to ensure that repayments of EDF loans are made on maturity and posting of vouchers for settlement of EDF loan correctly and timely in CBS
∎ Adjustment of loans created for import bills settlement, such as- LATR, Time Loan, Term Loan, Loan under Lease Financing, etc.
∎ To ensure that monthly statement of Forced Loan has been prepared correctly and report the same to ID within 10th of every month
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Age at most 35 year(s)
∎ Sound knowledge on GFET, UCP, ISBP, Import and Export Policy Order, Incoterms, SWIFT arena etc.
∎ Proactive and result driven
∎ Has sense of ownership
∎ Excellent interpersonal and communication skill (both verbal & written)
∎ Sound knowledge in MS Office
∎ Ability to drive and manage interaction with clients and business units
∎ Multi tasking ability
