Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Expertise in PHP and its frameworks, such as Laravel, Symfony, or Zend.
∎ Design Patterns: Deep understanding of design patterns (MVC, Repository, etc)and other architectural patterns.
∎ Scalable Application Design: Solid grasp of fundamental design principles behind building scalable and maintainable applications.
∎ Authentication & Authorization: Experience implementing user authentication and authorization across multiple systems, servers, and environments.
∎ Database Expertise: Proficient with SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra). Skilled in writing efficient, declarative queries and optimizing database performance.
∎ Version Control: Advanced proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows (e.g., GitFlow).
∎ APIs: Extensive experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs and SOAP services.Testing & Quality Assurance:
∎ Proficient with testing frameworks like PHPUnit.Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
∎ DevOps & CI/CD: Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like Docker, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
∎ Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
∎ Cloud Services: Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including services like EC2, S3, and Lambda functions.
∎ Security: Strong understanding of web security principles and best practices to protect against common vulnerabilities (e.g., SQL injection, XSS).
