Job Context:
∎ The main purpose of this position is to ensure all types of materials development (e.g. teaching, learning, training) and capacity building for DFID funded Education project. He/she will develop all technical teaching-learning materials for Rohingya children’s informal education aligning with GEIP; LCFA and Education cluster’s framework. Apart from the materials development, he/she will also identify the effectiveness of using different teaching-learning materials for the Rohingya children and ensure necessary changes based on the field experience. This position will develop all necessary module and training materials to ensure capacity building initiatives for learning facilitators and project staff. He/she will also accountable to ensure on-going mentoring support for in-service capacity building for learning facilitators.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop age appropriate teaching-learning materials for Rohingya children.
∎ Assess the effectiveness of teaching-learning materials for the children.
∎ Review and re-creating of teaching-learning materials.
∎ Develop activity based training module for learning facilitators and project staffs.
∎ Facilitate capacity building initiatives for learning facilitators and project staffs on pedagogy and facilitation.
∎ Ensure in-service training/mentoring support to learning facilitators and project staffs.
∎ Ensure joyful and child centric teaching –learning at learning spaces.
∎ Identify the good practices from Rohingya people on teaching –learning materials development and replication of those good practices.
∎ Collaboration with education cluster on teacher’s capacity building initiatives.
∎ Develop guidelines on Facilitator’s Learning Cycle (FLC).
∎ Facilitate Facilitator’s Learning Cycle (FLC).
∎ Assess children’s progress on learning outcomes and take necessary initiatives for improvement.
∎ Assess learning facilitator’s skill and take necessary action for improvement.
∎ Ensure necessary reports and documentation.
∎ Ensure all necessary teaching and learning materials development.
∎ Ensure child centric and joyful teaching learning.
∎ Ensure activity based training module.
∎ Ensure capacity building initiatives for learning facilitators and staffs.
∎ Ensure all necessary re-creation for better learning outcomes for children.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Written and spoken fluency in Bangla, Chittagong and English
∎ Advanced Excel and Microsoft Word abilities
∎ Experience with or interest in mobile data collection (Kobo, Compare, ODK)
∎ Attention to detail
∎ Experienced in data management software will be highly appreciated.

Salary: Tk. 61800 (Monthly)
