Education:
∎ Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from reputed university with standard CGPA.
∎ 5+ years of experience in compliance within the garments industry (preferably in a knit-based factory).
∎ PGD in compliance will add plus.
∎ Strong knowledge of labor laws, WRAP, BSCI, SEDEX, ISO, GOTS, OCS, GRS requirements.
∎ Experience in handling social and technical audits.
∎ Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
∎ Ability to work independently and handle pressure.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure compliance with local labor laws, buyers’ Code of Conduct, and international standards.
∎ Monitor and implement social, ethical, and environmental compliance initiatives.
∎ Conduct internal audits, risk assessments, and factory evaluations to ensure regulatory compliance.
∎ Prepare for and manage external audits, including buyer, third-party, and certification audits.
∎ Develop and update policies related to workplace safety, labor rights, and environmental sustainability.
∎ Train employees on compliance policies, health and safety regulations, and workplace ethics.
∎ Maintain accurate documentation and records related to compliance activities.
∎ Collaborate with HR, production, and merchandising teams to align compliance requirements with business operations.
∎ Handle compliance-related grievances and take corrective actions.
