Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and implement capacity building and training programs for CPP volunteers, staff, partners, and communities on disaster risk reduction
∎ Support in preparation and facilitation of capacity building training modules/guidelines for Sectorial project implementation issues [like training module for field teams and other sectors
∎ Design training strategies, plans, and tools for capacity building in disaster risk reduction
∎ Provide technical assistance and guidance to staff and partners on disaster risk reduction
∎ Develop training materials, including manuals, handouts, and presentations, and provide training sessions to staff and partners
∎ Bring innovation in coordination for disaster response among different level stakeholders working in Cox’s Bazar region
∎ Conduct training needs assessments and analyze the effectiveness of training programs
∎ Monitor and evaluate training programs to ensure they are meeting the desired objectives and outcomes
∎ Establish and maintain partnerships with other organizations and stakeholders to promote best practices in disaster risk reduction
∎ Contribute to the development of proposals and reports for disaster risk reduction projects
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 18 years
∎ Minimum 3 years in any NGO, INGO or recognized research based organization
∎ Having working experiences training module preparation, training and workshop arrangement in Cox’s Bazar district or any humanitarian environment will be an added advantage
∎ BRAC’s values and mission, Humanitarian Principles, Disaster Management, SDG, global development scenario to identify funding trends, financial and grants management, donor agencies
∎ Budgeting, communication, researching, writing, monitoring and evaluating, auditing, project management, project implementation
∎ Core Facilitating group meetings, managing timelines, oral and written fluency in both Bangla and English, handling critical issues with relevant stakeholders
