Additional Requirements:
∎ A minimum of 3-4 years of job experience is required as a Senior Merchandiser in the PD Dept.
∎ Should have consumption & costing knowledge of denim products
∎ Should be able to work under pressure.
∎ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
∎ Good communication skills in English.
∎ Must have computer literacy with good analytical skills.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Need a good understanding of the development process involved within the fashion environment, understand apparel to executable samples.
∎ Cost products based company given guidelines in order to maintain target profit margins
∎ Producing detailed tech packs and following complete development of a product from initial drawings to final sample.
∎ Leads fittings and works closely with the tech team on sample execution.
∎ Allocate samples and source raw materials from appropriate factories and mills.
∎ Actively participate in meetings with Technical and Merchants teams.
∎ Work on alternative solutions so garments meet cost requirements.
∎ Keeping a check on production, sourcing trims, and fabrics.
∎ Communicate and alert senior management to all high-level issues in an urgent timely manner.
∎ Review any escalated issues and determine action steps which may include: Giving direction to the coordinator to execute, reaching out to the Vendor / Agent to work on solutions, and/or escalating to the supervisor.
∎ Ensure initiatives, tools, and systems are being implemented and maintained. Monitor the use of systems over time.
∎ Perform other duties as required.
