Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for Merchandising and production planning.
∎ Work for business development and new buyer development.
∎ Work with management in formulating new business strategies for the local /International market in accordance with the market trend, competitor's activities, etc.
∎ In the product development process ensure that products meet customer's quality and budget requirement.
∎ Responsible for the merchandise starting from development till shipment the products.
∎ Co-ordinate and liaise with buyers & factory for developing new product for marketing along with usual marketing.
∎ Capable to solve problem that may arise during development and production.
∎ Provide guidance to factory to understand and follow systems & procedures of individual buyer.
∎ Sourcing the best possible pricing both for marketing and merchandising.
∎ Cost evaluation and pricing the product.
∎ Quotes and negotiate pricing for vendor on products/orders to enable vendors to obtain orders.
∎ Analyze the retail market forecast for the merchandise.
∎ Coordinate buying meetings between buyers and suppliers.
∎ Detail follow up of timeline of each order also follow up orders with vendors, customers and internal parties to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery.
∎ Monitoring overall activities of suppliers, commercial, shipping, quality checking of goods, etc. to ensure smooth production and shipment.
