Experience:

Experience working with international buyers and brands will be highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of knit garment manufacturing processes, fabrics, and finishing techniques.
Expertise in product development, costing, and price negotiations.
Good understanding of compliance and quality requirements for export markets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain buyer relationships.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Job Context
The Senior Merchandiser will be responsible for managing the end-to-end merchandising process, from product development to shipment. The role demands strong coordination skills, technical understanding of knit garments, and the ability to communicate effectively with buyers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Handle and manage assigned buyers/accounts independently.
Develop new product samples as per buyer requirements and market trends.
Prepare accurate costing and price negotiations with buyers.
Coordinate closely with production, planning, and quality teams to ensure timely order execution.
Follow up on order status, approvals, trims, fabrics, and accessories to avoid delays.
Maintain effective communication with buyers regarding order progress, shipment status, and problem resolution.
Monitor and ensure adherence to TNA plans and critical path schedules.
Analyze market trends and proactively propose new styles, fabrics, and techniques to buyers.
Prepare regular reports on order status and potential risks for management review.
Ensure compliance with buyer requirements, quality standards, and technical specifications.
Manage documentation and processes related to order execution, including POs, invoices, and shipping documents.
Collaborate with the sourcing team to identify suitable suppliers for fabrics, trims, and accessories.
