Job Context:
∎ Leading the local brand initiatives for cultured people (men & ladies) fashion brand targeting the fashion forward customers are now expanding and seeking to hire an experienced Operations Manager to further develop the brand and facilitate expansion throughout the country.
∎ Permanent after successful completion of 6 months’ probation period.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Reporting to the Management you will be responsible for leading the sales & profitability of your brand throughout the country.
∎ 2. In conjunction with the Management, you will plan the annual budget per store within the brand
∎ 3. Overall responsibility for production, sales, profit, stock loss, expenses & wages
∎ 4. Work in line with the new season merchandise marketing / promotional material
∎ 5. Provide effective leadership to your store/online operations team.
∎ 6. Evaluate local market competition and analyses pricing strategies / markdowns etc.
∎ 7. Provide guidance to your team on visual merchandise / brand integrity
∎ 8. Project management of new store openings including stock acquisition, shop fit outs and launches in line with pre-agreed budgets.
∎ 9. Manage the current retail portfolio to agreed income and expenditure KPI’s.
∎ 10. Manage the retail team to meet individual shop (when applicable) KPI’s, organise induction and training support for managers in line with company policy and procedures and provide operational supports for managers.
∎ 11. Ensure all shops comply and exceed requirements, review current procedures and make changes as and when needed.
∎ 12. Manage the distribution of stock between stores to ensure stock remains refreshed.
∎ 13. Public relations & social media project management for new stores and current stores.
∎ 14. Corporate shop-takeover project management and reporting.
∎ 15. Preparing regular financial and statistical reports, analysis and presentations.
∎ 16. Idea generation for Beloved development and industry benchmarking.
∎ 17. Development and implementation of Beloved marketing and promotional plan in liaison with Store Managers and Line Manager.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 1. Must have experience in Apparel industry minimum 8 – 10 years.
∎ 2. Excellent experience in project management and working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
∎ 3. Experience of the retail environment and experience in new store openings.
∎ 4. An understanding of the value of brands and the ability to communicate brand values.
∎ 5. Proven track record in sales and relationship development and new store openings.
∎ 6. Knowledge of social media.
Salary: Negotiable
