Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelors/ Diploma in any discipline from any recognised university
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure effective training to cut and sew easer pant
∎ Ensure effective training on making petticoats, kamiz, shalwar, nightwear for ladies
∎ Ensure all training packages including: work in the informal sector, perform measurement and calculation for the Informal sector, use hand tools & power tools for the Informal sector, communicate in the workplace, work in a team environment, practice workplace cleanliness, practice occupational health and safety
∎ Develop and update competency-based modules and necessary teaching-learning materials including: subject wise syllabus, session and lesson plans, trainee progress charts, logbook.
∎ Demonstrated knowledge in performing measurement and calculation.
∎ Arrangement of Competency Based Assessment.
∎ Ensure Learners attend classes in time, complete training and maintain discipline.
∎ Maintain proper management, discipline, accountability and transparency of the Ayesha Abed Foundation (AAF); demonstrate professionalism in attitude, conduct and behavior and adhere to BRAC Values, SDP Decent Work and Social Inclusion guidelines.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 18 years
∎ Practical experience in conducting training, and developing modules for tailoring and dress-making trade.
∎ Diversified knowledge of working in the tailoring and dress-making trade.
∎ Demonstrated good verbal communication skills
∎ Demonstrated success in delivering results and maintaining excellent quality under high pressure and tight deadlines
∎ Knowhow of making easer pant, kameez, petticoat, shalwars and women’s nightwear, communication with clients
Salary: Negotiable
