Job Responsibilities:
∎ STRATEGY AND DEVELOPMENT:
∎ Overall responsible for entire Manufacturing activities across all factories.
∎ Contribute to overall business strategy, ABP, annual factory budget and forecasts and all Capital Expenditure.
∎ Create and implement best practice manufacturing strategy and processes automation to improve business performance.
∎ Ensure that manufacturing strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of cost, quality and delivery targets.
∎ Evaluate the challenges faced by the factories and take action to mitigate risks with appropriate compliance.
∎ GENERAL AND TASK MANAGEMENT:
∎ Lead, develop and implement variable cost productivity programs across all areas of responsibility in every factory.
∎ Optimizing operating working capital usage and minimizing waste.
∎ Develop and manage master production schedule as per SAP - PP module.
∎ Provide manufacturing input at early stages in the new product development process as well as implement new and revised designs.
∎ Oversee overall QC of all factories directly and strengthen the process
∎ Ensure that Environmental, Health and Safety, Manufacturing Compliance and quality standards and procedures for all factories are adhered to.
∎ PEOPLE MANAGEMENT:
∎ Provide leadership to all factories under control and coach, mentor and develop direct reports and manage a high performing team.
∎ Establish strategy and best practices for staff to ensure achievement of overall business objectives, including KPIs and to track them.
∎ Create Successor and Talent pool from different level of all factories and develop them as per Individual Development Plan (IDP).
∎ Report on factory activities on a regular basis to the Senior Management team, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of the relevant Key Performance Indicators.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 40 years
∎ 15 years of progressive manufacturing experience, preferably currently having same role (GM) in a manufacturing company
∎ Strong management and leadership skills.
∎ Strong operational experience with the ability to establish and measure KPI's.
∎ Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.)
