Education:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology, Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Fashion Designing
Requirements:
Additional Requirements:
∎ Candidate must have experience in woven garments.
∎ Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Textile or Fashion from a renowned university.
∎ Minimum of 10 years working in merchandising and sales in woven garments.
∎ Proven experience in merchandising, particularly within the woven fabric and garment industry.
∎ Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Willingness to work in a factory environment and collaborate with production staff.
∎ Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant merchandising software.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage the entire merchandising process from product development to final shipment.
∎ Liaise with buyers, suppliers, and production teams to ensure timely order execution.
∎ Oversee costing, pricing, and negotiations to meet company profit margins.
∎ Ensure quality control throughout the production cycle, addressing any issues proactively.
∎ Analyze market trends and develop innovative woven product lines.
∎ Manage a team of junior merchandisers, providing guidance and training.
∎ Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and develop new business opportunities.
∎ Ensure compliance with buyer standards and ethical requirements.
