Responsibilities & Context:
Collaborate with Agile development teams to perform full lifecycle application and infrastructure development.
Configure and maintain data streaming servers, OMS servers, and manage both on-premises and cloud servers for our microservices-based OMS system.
Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines, implementing quality gates and automation for release management and deployment.
Implement Monitoring tools, administer, and troubleshoot systems and services, ensuring security, availability, reliability, and performance.
Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration, along with expertise in system monitoring tools like Grafana etc.
Manage physical server administration across Linux distributions (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian) and implement high availability solutions including API gateways, clustering, disaster recovery (DR), and data backup.
Automate system tasks using CI/CD tools (e.g., Chef, Ansible, Puppet), and proficient in database administration (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, Oracle, MongoDB) and web/application servers (e.g., Tomcat, Apache, Nginx).
Implement load balancing solutions (e.g., HaProxy, Nginx, PgPool-II), monitoring tools (e.g., Netdata, ELK, Nagios, Zabbix, New Relic), and version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and ensure scalability and reliability in system designs.
