Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in Computer Science & Engineering/Computer Science/Information Technology/ B.Sc./ M.Sc. in CSE/Software Engineering/ECE/EEE or equivalent and relevant engineering degree.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Hands-on experience on mission critical database maintenance works such as Index maintenance, Statistics maintenance, Data file maintenance, Database capacity plan, Detecting database corrupt pages, Check Database Integrity, Error log review.
∎ Hands-on experience on high volume databases (5TB to 10TB) maintenance.
∎ Extensive knowledge on database table partitioning, Indexing, Statistics update.
∎ Having good experience on data purging and archiving.
∎ Having good understanding on data purging and archiving.
∎ SQL Server Installation, upgradation, and maintenance (Log, Temp, Datafile) including failover clusters environment (Always On).
∎ SQL Server Security configurations, including encryption, data synchronization.
∎ Performance tuning and manage parameters to provide fast responses to front-end users.
∎ Review database sizes, growth settings, and capacity planning.
∎ Defining, configuring, documenting, and testing disaster recovery plans.
∎ Good understanding of risks involved with running queries/commands on production systems.
∎ Should have a positive mindset to work in different working hours (shifting duties, 24 x 7 x 365) and Support activities.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Applicant MUST be a non-smoker
∎ Ability to work independently and under pressure
∎ Team oriented attitude with strong communications skills
∎ Should have good experience on OLTP, OLAP, Complex Stored Procedure, Trigger, Function, Cursor
∎ Must have 7+ years experience with large database and extensive transactional data set.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 80000 (Monthly)
∎ For highly qualified & experienced candidates salary will be negotiable.
Probation period will be 1 (one) year. After successful completion of the probationary period, the officer will be accommodated in the regular Pay Scale of ASA.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ All admissible benefits like Contributory Provident Fund, Gratuity, Yearly Increment, Festival Allowance, Naboborsho Allowance (Boishakhy) and Employee's Group Benefit Fund will be attributed.
