Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Sales Inquiry Generation: Proactively generate inquiries for cargo inspection services and SABER/SASO Certificate of Conformity (CoC), following TUVAT BIC Company Handbook policies. Use various methods such as introductory letters, emails, phone calls, social media networks, personal contacts, yellow pages, chambers of commerce, and associations to approach potential clients to engage potential clients in industries requiring cargo inspection for export to Saudi Arabia.
∎ Meeting Sales Targets: Achieve monthly sales targets by identifying new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, focusing on the cargo inspection and SABER/SASO CoC services.
∎ Proposals and Contract Agreements: Dispatch only those proposals and contract agreements approved by the Line Manager to the concerned clients, ensuring compliance with company standards.
∎ Client Lead Generation and Feedback: Generate new client leads specifically for cargo inspection and SABER/SASO CoC services. Provide prompt and effective feedback to clients' inquiries, enhancing customer satisfaction and trust.
∎ Compliance with Policies and Procedures: Maintain strict adherence to all company policies and procedures, with a special focus on compliance with SABER/SASO requirements and information security standards.
∎ Annual Sales Plan: Assist the Line Manager in the design and implementation of the annual sales plan for the company, contributing to strategic sales initiatives and goals.
∎ Sales Database Management: Help develop and administer a comprehensive sales database, including client-related information, mailing lists, and contact details, to support effective sales activities and client management.
∎ Inquiry Log Maintenance: Maintain a detailed log of all inquiries related to cargo inspection and SABER/SASO CoC, ensuring transparency and effective tracking of sales activities.
∎ Industry Contacts Development: Build and maintain contacts within industries that frequently require cargo inspection and SABER/SASO certification, such as manufacturing, automotive, electronics, and consumer goods, to identify potential clients.
∎ Preliminary Documentation: Prepare and submit the necessary documentation for cargo inspection and SABER/SASO CoC applications, including inquiry forms, proposals, and contract agreements.
∎ Client Communication: Communicate any unforeseen delays or issues in the cargo inspection or certification process to clients promptly, maintaining a high level of service integrity and client trust.
∎ Training and Development: Engage in continuous learning about cargo inspection, SABER/SASO regulations, and market trends to enhance professional expertise and service quality.
∎ Market and Competitor Analysis: Conduct thorough market and competitor analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the cargo inspection and SABER/SASO industry.
∎ Coordination with International Offices: Work closely with international offices and partners to align cargo inspection and SABER/SASO CoC processes with global standards and practices, ensuring seamless service delivery.
∎ Expense Management: Monitor and record all expenses related to the planning and execution of cargo inspection and SABER/SASO CoC services to maintain budgetary control.
∎ Additional Responsibilities: Undertake any other tasks as assigned by the Line Manager, showing flexibility and adaptability in the role.Preference shall be given to candidates with experience in Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC), Cargo Inspection and SABER/SASO industry. Additional qualifications in logistics, quality management, or related fields will be advantageous.
