Responsibilities & Context:
Properly maintain stock of raw materials, finished rice, spare parts, and other mill supplies.
Record and report daily receiving and issuing of goods accurately.
Label, code, and store all materials/products in designated storage locations.
Conduct regular physical stock verification and submit reports to management.
Verify and document invoices, bills, and vouchers related to goods movement.
Ensure proper storage and supply of goods following FIFO (First In First Out) and LIFO (Last In First Out) methods as applicable.
Identify and report damaged, expired, or excess materials promptly.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper organization of the store area.
Take preventive measures to avoid theft, wastage, or damage of goods.
Enter and maintain all store-related data in ERP/Software/Excel systems.
Prepare monthly and yearly inventory reports for management review.
Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Accounts, and other departments as required.
