Job Summary
The Deputy Sales Manager (DSM) will be responsible for overseeing and driving retail sales operations across all Jamuna Plaza showrooms within the assigned division. The role focuses on achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through effective implementation of company sales policies, promotional campaigns, and pricing strategies at the showroom level.
The DSM will regularly visit showrooms to monitor performance, ensure operational excellence, motivate and guide sales teams, and maintain proper inventory and product availability. This position also involves training and evaluating showroom staff to enhance productivity and customer service standards.
Additionally, the DSM will coordinate with the marketing team to execute local promotional and branding activities, gather market intelligence on competitors and customer trends, and maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure a superior in-store customer experience.
The role requires regular reporting to senior management on sales performance, challenges, opportunities, and overall showroom operations while ensuring full compliance with company policies and operational standards.
Job Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor sales activities across all showrooms/plazas in the division.
Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets.
Implement company sales policies, promotional campaigns, and pricing strategies at the showroom level.
Conduct regular visits to showrooms for performance evaluation, staff motivation, and support.
Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, and ensure optimal product availability in showrooms.
Train, guide, and evaluate showroom sales teams to ensure high performance.
Coordinate with the marketing team for local promotions and branding initiatives.
Collect market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and customer behavior and report to senior management.
Maintain relationships with key clients and ensure a superior in-store customer experience.
Provide weekly/monthly reports to the Head of Sales and Management regarding sales trends, challenges, and opportunities.
Ensure compliance with company policies, showroom discipline, and operational standards.
