Responsibilities & Context:
  • Selling Elevator & Escalator at Government projects

  • Understanding Government Procurement Processes: Familiarity with government procurement procedures, including tendering, bidding, and contracting processes.

  • Product Knowledge: Thorough understanding of the company`s product or service line and how it aligns with government needs and regulations.  

  • Relationship Building: Developing and maintaining relationships with government officials, agencies, and decision-makers to understand their needs and position the company as a preferred vendor. 

  • Market Research: Conducting market research to identify government projects, opportunities, and potential customers.

  • Proposal Development: Crafting and submitting proposals, bids, and tenders in response to government solicitations.   

  • Compliance and Regulation: Ensuring compliance with all government regulations, standards, and requirements relevant to the industry and specific projects. 

  • Negotiation: Negotiating terms, contracts, and pricing with government clients while ensuring profitability and adherence to company policies.   

  • Sales Target Achievement: Setting and achieving Monthly, Quarterly & Annual sales targets aligned with governmental projects, ensuring revenue growth and market share expansion within government verticals.

  • Project Management: Coordinating with internal teams to ensure successful implementation and delivery of projects, including managing timelines, resources, and budgets.

  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of sales activities, contracts, and communications with government clients, as well as providing regular reports to management.

  • Continuous Learning: Staying updated on government policies, regulations, and industry trends that may impact sales strategies and opportunities.   

  • Travel: Depending on the scope of projects, willingness to travel to different locations for meetings, presentations, and project site visits.

  • Collaboration: Collaborating with internal teams, such as marketing, legal, and operations, to support sales efforts and address client needs effectively.
