Job Context
We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to lead and manage the overall quality department for our garment operations. The role requires strong technical knowledge of garment products, production processes, and quality management systems. The selected candidate will act as the head of the quality team and ensure that all products meet buyer requirements and international quality standards.
Job Responsibilities
Lead, supervise, and control the overall activities of the Quality Department as department head.
Develop, implement, and maintain a strong Quality Management System (QMS) in line with buyer requirements and industry standards.
Ensure proper quality control from development stage to final inspection of garments.
Monitor production quality and coordinate with production, technical, and merchandising teams to ensure required standards are maintained.
Review and approve quality reports, inspection reports, and technical documents before submission to buyers & country head.
Handle technical audits, quality audits, and buyer inspections, ensuring full compliance with required standards.
Identify quality risks, root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Conduct training and skill development programs for quality team members.
Establish and maintain effective quality reporting and documentation systems.
Ensure adherence to buyer specifications, AQL standards, and product quality requirements.
Monitor factory quality performance and prepare regular reports for management.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree.
Additional professional training in Quality Management Systems or Garment Technology will be considered an advantage.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 10–15 years of experience in the garments industry.
Strong experience in garment technical knowledge, product development, and production quality control.
Experience handling technical audits and buyer quality audits.
Additional Requirements
Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, washing, printing, embroidery, and finishing processes.
Sound knowledge of AQL standards, inline inspection, and final inspection procedures.
Good leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
Strong reporting, documentation, and communication abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
