Job Description:

Candide must have valid passport and interested to go abroad. 

Baolee Overseas Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Quality Management Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate must have a strong B.Sc. Civil Engineering background and be fluent in English. Quality Management Engineer ensures construction projects meet engineering standards, safety regulations, and client specifications, testing materials (soil, concrete, steel), managing documentation like Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and resolving non-conformance issues to prevent structural defects.

v  Inspection & Testing:

·         Conduct daily on-site inspections of earthworks, reinforcement, formwork, and concreting, as explained.

·         Perform field tests (e.g., slump tests, concrete cube sampling, compaction tests) to ensure structural integrity.

·         Approve or reject materials (cement, steel, aggregate) based on test certificates and quality standards, according to the Standards.

v  Documentation & Compliance:

·         Prepare and maintain comprehensive QA/QC documentation, such as inspection reports, test results, and check-lists.

·         Ensure all construction adheres to approved drawings, technical specifications, and contract requirements.

·         Maintain materials testing checklists, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and handover documents, as specified.

v  Quality Planning & Improvement:

·         Assist in developing and implementing Project Quality Plans (PQP) and Method Statements.

·         Identify potential quality issues early and issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) when work deviates from standards.

·         Coordinate with site managers and consultants to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.

v  Coordination:

·         Coordinate with client representatives for joint inspections of completed work, say the Standard.

·         Any other task assigned by the supervisor related to role.
