∎ SSC, HSC
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Perform visual inspections of PVC pipes for any defects, such as cracks, dents, or surface irregularities.
∎ Measure the dimensions of the PVC pipes to ensure they meet the specified size and tolerances.
∎ Verify the quality and composition of the PVC material used in the pipes, checking for consistency and adherence to industry standards.
∎ Conduct leak tests to ensure that there are no holes, gaps, or weak joints in the pipes that could lead to water leakage.
∎ Subject the PVC pipes to pressure tests to ensure they can withstand the intended pressure levels without bursting or deforming.
∎ Measure the weight and density of the PVC pipes to verify that they meet the required specifications.
∎ Check that the PVC pipes are properly marked and labeled with relevant information, such as size, material type, manufacturer, a relevant certifications.
∎ Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and any non-conformities, including the identification of defective products.
∎ Ensure that the PVC pipes conform to relevant industry standards and regulations, such as ASTM, ISO, or local building codes.
∎ Select random samples of PVC pipes for more comprehensive laboratory testing if required.
∎ Utilize non-destructive testing methods, such as ultrasound or X-ray, to detect internal defects that may not be visible externally.
∎ Communicate findings to the production or quality control team, and provide feedback on areas that need improvement.
∎ Based on the inspection results, make decisions to either approve the PVC pipes for sale or reject them if they do not meet the quality standards.
∎ Collaborate with production teams to identify and address the root causes of quality issues and suggest improvements in the manufacturing process.
∎ Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment while conducting inspections.
