Job Context:
∎ We are seeking an experienced, dedicated Quality Controller (QC) to join our team. In this position, you will maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, finished products, and recording the results. Excellent communication and leadership skills are a must, as well as a keen attention to detail.
∎ To accomplish this, you will need to maintain close communication with the merchandiser, Technician, pattern maker, and other QC. In addition to the responsibility, you will be accountable for ensuring that the necessary documentation, records, and data are kept up to date to support quality control processes and allow continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The QC shall, in particularly perform the following tasks but not necessarily be limited to:
∎ BEFORE THE PRODUCTION
∎ Development Follow Up
∎ Collect the development Samples: Counter, revised counter, Size Set, Revised Size Set, PPS, revised PPS, Bulk Size Set
∎ Organize the PP MEETING in The Factory.
∎ Technical Assessment
∎ Analyzing the Technical Files during order negotiation
∎ Assessment of all the Garment development Samples: Counter, Revised Counter, Size Set, Revised Size Set, PPS, revised PPS, Bulk Size Set.
∎ Assistance to the supplier ( in the sample room) for the making of the Development sample
∎ Preparation of the PP Meeting with the concerned Qc
∎ DURING THE PRODUCTION
∎ Perform In-Line Inspection:
∎ Randomly and Regularly pick and inspect production samples: From the cutting to the Re-Packing section
∎ Identify the roots of the defect & Suggest corrective Actions Plan / Assess & Approve corrective actions plan /
∎ Ensure the respect of the Supplier's duties
∎ Respect for productivity, respect for the deadline, respect the Quality Standards
∎ Daily Communication with the merchandising Buyer about the production status
∎ END OF THE PRODUCTION
∎ Perform the Final Inspection:
∎ Inspection of the Finished goods as per the international sample board & Final Inspection Rules
∎ Communicate the Inspection Report within 24 hours max to Quality Manager and the concerned merchandiser.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 38 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 5 years experience as QC or QA in a Buying House or Rep Office along with Complete knowledge and at least 03 years experience in knit, Shokes, and underwear
∎ Professional Knowledge:
∎ Good & recent Experience with European Brands (Minimum 2 years)
∎ Good & recent Experience with Adults i.e. men's and women's cloths
∎ Strong and sharp Knowledge of the Quality Inspection Process
∎ Good Knowledge of the Production process
∎ Strong capacity for collaboration & communication with the factory
∎ Flexible office timing considering the workload
∎ Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
