Education:

Responsibilities & Context:

𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

A Quality Control (QC) Administrator supports the quality department by performing administrative tasks, managing documentation, and assisting with quality control processes. This role ensures that installations meet established quality standards and may involve tasks like data entry, record maintenance, and coordinating quality control activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Provide general office support to the quality department, including tasks like data entry, filing, scanning, and ordering supplies.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain and update quality documentation, such as procedures, work instructions, and inspection records.
  • Quality Control Process Support: Assist with various quality control activities, including data collection, analysis, and reporting on quality performance metrics.
  • Communication and Coordination: Liaise with other departments and teams to ensure smooth execution of quality control processes and address any issues.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to quality standards, regulations, and procedures.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quality control activities and results.
  • Training and Support: Assist in training staff on quality control procedures and provide support to other team members.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in quality control processes and contribute to the development of new procedures.
  • Metrics Tracking: Monitor and report on key quality metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

Detailed roles and responsibilities include

  • Validation: Appointment of third-party consultants to carry out post installation validations such as Post BER Assessments, Airtightness Testing, Ventilation Validation.
  • Desktop Audits: Complete a full desktop audit of all project documentation including survey forms, quotations, pre-installation forms, grant applications, installation forms, audit and reworks forms to ensure full compliance with the company’s quality management requirements.
  • Site Audits: Appointment of Technical Auditors to carry out detailed quality auditing of all measures of works completed to ensure they meet the required quality standards.
  • Reworks: Coordination of reworks where required because of non-conformances identified as part of site audits completed.
  • Grant Applications: Complete SEAI DOW installation declarations and submit payment request on SEAI portal for payments.
  • Handover Documentation / Safety File: Prepare, compile all customer handover documentation for all elements of works carried out as part of the upgrade.
