Job Responsibilities:
∎ Experienced in T-shirt production with large volume for at least 7-10 years experience in multinational setting. Demonstrated competence in quality assurance and quality control system for large scale T-shirt manufacturer.
∎ Experience working in 100% foreign owned T-shirt manufacturer handling foreign buyer quality inspectors and experience in handling global brands such as GAP, Banana Republic, Old Navy, Uniqlo, Ann Taylor, JJill, A&F, etc.
∎ Experience as buyer's Factory Key Representative (FKR) and or Dedicated Auditor with certificate handling multiple brands under his/her belt is preferred.
∎ Experienced and technical know-how to identify quality defects from production processes in accordance with buyer requirement on styling, hand-feel, folding, packing, etc.
∎ Independently handle all quality control activities including quality audit, in-process inspection, end line inspection, finished goods audit and provide necessary guidance to production for quality improvement.
∎ Take ownership and control of quality program such as 5S, Traffic light system, DHU and Product Safety as per buyer's guidelines.
∎ Take ownership and control of sample requirement from each buyer per style and monitor the same for completion and approval.
∎ Prepare mechanism to establish effective monitoring of garment sample for testing to the nominated laboratories as per buyer standards.
∎ Monitoring of devices and equipment for calibration.
∎ Be a championed on quality improvement and make necessary recommendation for enhancement of production processes and practices. Experience in handling quality management system in ISO QMS certified facility.
∎ Knowledgeable and experience of handling buyer final inspection process and maintain the implementation of quality management system.
∎ Initiate necessary update on quality policy, quality guidelines and SOPs align with each buyer requirement. Conduct training to all quality inspectors to achieve highest level of quality from every process.
∎ Infuse effective coordination and communication with production management and compliance team to maintain product quality and or effectively achieve quality requirement from each buyer.
∎ Demonstrate ability to handle the factory evaluation/factory audit from buyer and or 3rd party.
∎ Monitoring of QA/QC performance and defect rates by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports that should be effectively communicated to all related department.
