Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Understand and be clear about DSL QA SOP and KPI.
∎ Understand and be clear about customer's quality and testing manual.
∎ Control product in manufacturing unit accordingly.
∎ Maintain a productive & business relationship between manufacturer, DSL stakeholder and customer's representative (wherever applicable).
∎ Manage & Monitor Trims & Accessories Inspection and inhouse testing prior production start and during production.
∎ Before PPM review Bulk fabric inspection report, Trims inspection report, color continuity card, shade grouping, shrinkage report, GSM, hand feel, pattern grouping, Etc.
∎ Ensure and conduct PPM comprehensively (Check QA file, approved black seal & PPS, full size-set gmts in hand, and engage DSL merchandiser, garment tech, fabric tech and wash tech in the meeting - in person / virtually).
∎ Ensure Folding, Polly and Carton measurement in the PPM session.
∎ Monitor Risk Assessment & analyzing log of every styles from Tech/Merchandiser to identify potential issue and escalate in PPM to aware whole factory team for fixing.
∎ After approve PPM advise for Pilot run and review 1st bulk(10pcs) to ensure line setup and align pilot run gmts quality per approved sample. Then approve for bulk production.
∎ Monitor closely for complex product with special care thorough PPM, PILOT RUN, INLINE, PRE-FINAL & FINAL Inspection.
∎ Periodically check pattern (as per necessity) and ensure wash-gmts shade check compulsorily.
∎ Monitor size, color and packing accuracy with "0" defect philosophy (input to carton).
∎ Monitor Children wear product safety as per the customer standard.· All reports must be uploaded in ERP with in same day.
∎ \Monitor the production flow in the floor and advise if anything goes unexpected to meet the delivery - keep posting information to respective DSL Merchandiser for action well in advance.
∎ Review Quality control of Cutting, Sewing & Finishing In -process quality control in the factory If found any error then report to factory production and quality management on the spot.
∎ Manage & Evaluate All types of samples (i.e sales sample / gold seal sample and production sample) considering materials, workmanship, measurement and presentation.
∎ Develop Process-quality Control, Process Simplification (i.e using folder, guide, zig pattern etc) & advice to respective factory for better execution.
∎ Train up factory QC & lead DSL DQA team as per SOP.
∎ In house BULK Test report evaluation & coordination with Fabric/Wash tech accordingly.
∎ Review bulk gmts wash shade and hand feel (overall aesthetic) and keep continue.
∎ Maintain overall Quality parameter as per prescribed AQL. Must ensure to adhere KPI.
∎ Maintain high level INTEGRITY, DISCIPLINE, and MODESTEY in work place.
∎ Aware customer claim / Feedback and follow up with supplier for Action plan· Any miss matches with P & P /PCCR and Care label or others trims (regardless any customer). Find out in early stage and Email communication with concern Merchandiser.
∎ Educate supplier quality peoples /DQA to take more ownership on DSL Quality standard and keep continue training of customer’s revised manual.
∎ Arrange a duplicate black seal for production line ref and original black seal keeping inspection room with polybag.
∎ Report to Manager -Quality Assurance.
