Context:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer (Contractual) to ensure the quality of construction materials, processes, and workmanship for a large-scale hotel project. The role involves conducting inspections, reviewing drawings and documentation, verifying material compliance, and ensuring that all construction activities meet approved specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in large building projects, strong technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver a world-class hospitality facility on time and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify construction materials (e.g., concrete, steel, soil) through visual checks, laboratory testing, and certification reviews.

• Observe and inspect ongoing construction work to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.

• Examine construction plans, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and completeness.

• Conduct pre- and post-construction inspections to identify potential issues and confirm correct installation.

• Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions, including photographic evidence.

• Identify and address quality issues in coordination with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors.

• Ensure compliance with local safety regulations, codes, and international standards.

• Monitor the quality and workmanship of all construction activities across different project phases.

• Prepare and present quality reports, inspection findings, and test results to management and stakeholders.

• Maintain all QA/QC documentation, including certificates, calibration records, inspection logs, and NCRs.

• Participate in quality assurance meetings, audits, and project reviews.

• Perform any other duties assigned by management related to QA/QC and project quality monitoring.
