  • Excellent knowledge of garment quality standards, AQL, and inspection systems.

  • Hands-on experience in handling reputed international buyers.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

  • Good communication skills in English (spoken & written).

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Lead and manage the overall QA/QC operations for Woven, Denim, and Tops (Subsidiary Bottoms) units.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality management systems (QMS).

  • Ensure all quality standards are aligned with buyer requirements and international compliance benchmarks.

  • Oversee fabric, cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing quality control processes.

  • Monitor inline inspections and ensure immediate corrective actions to minimize defects.

  • Conduct pre-final and final inspections as per AQL standards and buyer requirements.

  • Analyze defect trends, identify root causes, and implement effective CAPA (Corrective & Preventive Actions).

  • Ensure proper shade management, measurement control, and workmanship standards.

  • Coordinate with the merchandising team for buyer comments, approvals, and technical clarifications.

  • Work closely with the production team to ensure right-first-time (RFT) production.

  • Handle PP meetings, pilot runs, and pre-production approvals from a quality perspective.

  • Ensure all testing (fabric, trims, garments) is conducted as per buyer standards and compliance requirements.

  • Manage and respond to buyer quality audits, third-party inspections, and technical visits.

  • Maintain strong communication with buyers regarding quality issues, approvals, and shipment readiness.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.

  • Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and record-keeping of quality performance metrics.

  • Lead root cause analysis meetings and ensure corrective actions are implemented across departments.

  • Monitor DHU%, RFT%, and other key quality KPIs and take proactive measures.

  • Ensure compliance with social, technical, and environmental standards related to quality.

  • Develop and conduct training programs for QA/QC team members and production staff.

  • Build a strong second line by mentoring and developing future quality leaders.

  • Ensure on-time shipment with required quality standards maintained.
