·         Strong analytical skills to understand financial domain requirements and gain sound knowledge of the applications under test

·         Solid knowledge of SQL and ability to write complex queries for validating financial transactions and reports

·         Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI, Swagger, JMeter)

·         Knowledge of financial data validation, security testing, and compliance considerations

·         Familiarity with Agile Development Process

·         Experience in writing automation scripts for API and web application testing (e.g., Selenium, Rest Assured, Cypress, or similar)

·         Adherence to company policies and processes

Responsibilities & Context

·         Test and identify high-priority bugs in financial applications and APIs early in the process

·         Validate financial transaction flows, data accuracy, and API responses

·         Perform functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing of financial apps and services

·         Design and execute test cases for Web APIs, backend services, and database validations

·         Prepare and maintain checklists for regression and smoke testing

·         Research and recommend new QA tools, technologies, and processes for financial application testing

·         Develop and manage effective test plans and strategies for enterprise applications (Desktop, Web, and Mobile)

·         Prepare detailed test documentation, bug reports, and test coverage reports

·         Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams to ensure product quality
