Educational Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Facilitating engaging and inclusive making sessions for Rohingya children in the Humanitarian Make Lab, using a variety of tools, materials, and technologies to inspire creativity and innovation
∎ Developing and delivering age-appropriate, culturally sensitive, and contextually relevant making and innovation curricula, ensuring that learning is accessible, inclusive, and participatory for all children, regardless of their background or abilities

∎ Collaborating with other team members to identify and procure appropriate making materials, tools, and equipment, and maintaining an inventory of resources to support the learning activities in the Humanitarian Make Lab
∎ Ensuring the safety and security of the children during the making sessions, following established safety protocols and guidelines, and providing guidance on safe and responsible use of tools, materials, and technologies
∎ Monitoring and evaluating the progress and impact of the making activities, and providing feedback and recommendations for improvement to the Humanitarian Make Lab team
∎ Documenting and sharing success stories, best practices, and lessons learned from the making activities, to contribute to organizational learning, knowledge sharing, and advocacy efforts
∎ Building positive relationships with children, their families, and the local community, promoting inclusivity, cultural sensitivity, and mutual respect in all interactions
∎ Collaborating with other stakeholders, including partners, donors, and relevant agencies, to create opportunities for showcasing the work of Rohingya children and advocating for their creative potential
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 18 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ S/he has been clear knowledge and understanding of Child Intelligence, psychology and design thinking
∎ S/he has the ability to conduct sessions with children
∎ S/he has contributed project documentation, shared success stories and capture best practices & lessons learned.
