Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's in any discipline from any reputed University/Institution

∎ At least 1 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Facilitate GBV prevention discussions including Workshops, and identify Role Models in the community to lead male engagement activities;
∎ Ensure day to day project implementation in order to provide GBV awareness raising activities in the community and collect community’s feedback;
∎ Provide supervision and ongoing training/ mentoring to community male role models for GBV prevention activities;
∎ Work with community stakeholders, community leaders, camp committees, Imams in order to execute GBV Prevention interventions;
∎ Collect and submit data for periodical reports to supervisor;
∎ Prepare and submit regular work plans and progress reports for supervisor review and feedback;
∎ Coordinate with stakeholders to enable and develop GBV programming in Camps;
∎ Attend meetings on behalf of the GBV program as relevant or requested
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
∎ Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 18 years
∎ Have knowledge or willingness to learn and challenge oneself and others regarding gender roles, power relationships and gender-based violence
∎ Needs experience and skills in working with leaders and influencers in the community.
∎ Patient, persuasive and have the confidence and experience needed to be taken seriously
∎ by leaders.
∎ Needs to understand community dynamics and how power flows through the community
∎ Need to be willing to let the male engagement community groups be in the spotlight
∎ Deep knowledge on Violence against women (VAW) and Male as Ally
∎ Knowledge on basic Gender issues
∎ Leadership skills and supervisory experience, including the ability to develop team performance
∎ Communication & Coordination Skills
∎ Interpersonal Skills: Empathetic and Assertive
∎ Problem-Solving Skills
∎ Familiarity with principles of monitoring & evaluation.
∎ Experience in writing brief narrative reports
∎ Able to work collaboratively with internal staff and external providers
∎ Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel

∎ Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
∎ Ability to manage and coordinate with internal and external departments
