Job Context:
∎ We are looking for Project Officer - Education (Community Mobilization & Capacity Building)
∎ The Project Officer Building will be responsible for overall implementation of `Education Innovation` project at Rohingya Refugee camps and host communities. He/she will be a coach or mentor for Learning Facilitators/Community Volunteers to develop their capacity and also ensure the quality implementation of project`s deliverables. The assigned personnel will build working relationship with different stakeholders and mobilize them for project`s efficiency, quality and sustainability.

∎ Work Location: Ukhiya/Teknaf (Refuge Camp)
∎ Reporting to: Senior Innovation Project Manager - Education
∎ Contract Length: Up to March 31, 2020 (with possibility of extension subject to funding, program needs and performance of incumbent)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure effective and quality field implementation of project's activities
∎ Capacity building of Learning Facilitators/Community Volunteers through training and ongoing professional support
∎ Regular supervision of Learning Facilitators/Community Volunteers at field level for quality delivery
∎ Mobilize community stakeholders and ensure their active engagement in project's cycle
∎ Regular supervision of project activities
∎ Maintain liaison and functional relationship with relevant Government authorities and NGOs
∎ Ensure accurate tracking and utilization of a large numbers Tablets as 'Education Tool'
∎ Facilitate awareness initiatives at camps and host communities
∎ Develop weekly/monthly work plan for Learning Facilitators/Community Volunteers
∎ Ensure quantitative and qualitative data as per MEAL requirement
∎ Identify field related challenges/gaps and develop alternative plan/s to mitigate the challenges/gaps.
∎ Facilitate 'Learning Sharing' event; FGD/KII; meeting; workshop at community level
∎ Ensure necessary data/statistics; case study; success story for proper documentation
∎ Coordination between program and operation team and ensure logistic support at field level
∎ Field level coordination with other sectors (i.e. Child Protection; Heath) to ensure quality
∎ integration into programming
∎ Compile participatory feedback from stakeholders (i.e. children, parents, community leaders) and submit to management for future action
∎ Any other relevant tasks assigned from management
∎ Supervise learning facilitators/volunteers and ensuring children's attendance regularly in daily learning activities are on track
∎ Take lead in community sensitization/mobilization meeting and in the training of learning facilitators/volunteers
∎ Report any insecurity incidence timely to security focal person
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Basic IT skills on using tablets for education and basic trouble shooting skills
∎ Knowledge about tools and process of Social Mobilization with significant proven experience in social mobilization, sensitization, and organization
∎ Expertise on field level effective communication
∎ Interpersonal skills with ability to work independently with minimum support from the team
∎ Familiarity and sensitivity with the Rohingya context: language, customs, etc.
∎ Basic computer Literacy: MS office (Word, excel, PowerPoint, outlook, etc.)
∎ Willingness to work in an environment with limited resources with poor living conditions and in difficult situations
Salary: Tk. 48500 (Monthly)
