Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor or a Master's degree in Humanities, (Psychology, Education, or Social work) from a recognised university.
∎ Relevant certificates in the field pf Mental Health and psychosocial support.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ Duration of the contract: 6 months 1st September 2020 to 28th February 2021.(Possibility to extend)
∎ Reporting to: MHPSS Delegate of Danish Red Cross.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage the process of regularly assessing, analysing, and disseminating information about MHPSS needs, capacities, and resources of the target population.
∎ Organize and manage all MHPSS trainings for staff, volunteers, and beneficiaries, including developing a system for follow up trainees to put in action gained knowledge and skills.
∎ Manage the process of developing / adapting context relevant MHPSS training materials, curricula, and tools required for the smooth implementation of MHPSS projects
∎ Roll out of an effective system of caring for staff and volunteers in all units where DRC supported projects are implemented.
∎ Carry out regular monitoring and support supervision of project staff and volunteers
∎ Carry out coaching and on-the-job training and mentoring of project staff and volunteers to enhance their capacity in planning and implementing PSS projects.
∎ Prepare and submit quarterly and annual workplans and budgets of all MHPSS projects supported by Danish Red Cross
∎ Prepare and submit timely and quality narrative and financial reports of all DRC supported PSS projects.
∎ Ensure that the implementation of MHPSS projects are done in close collaboration with other BDRCS programmes and sector for integration and sustainability.
∎ Ensure that DRC supported MHPSS projects are implemented following the RCRC Movement framework on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support for National Societies and other international guidelines.
∎ Ensure the mainstreaming of protection, gender and inclusion aspects in all DRC supported projects.
∎ Attend relevant coordination meetings and especially the MHPSS working group meetings at district and field level.
∎ Ensure visibility of MHPSS project at local and national level.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum of 2 years' experience as manager/ team leader or sector focal for Psychosocial Support programmes in any humanitarian organisation.
∎ Possess training skills on community based Psychosocial support including Psychological First Aid. A Trainer will be an added advantage
∎ Experience on psychosocial support/ protection/ community mobilisation and M&E
∎ Must have good finance background particularly on budgeting, budget monitoring and finance reporting
∎ Excellent communication and facilitation skills
∎ Extensive knowledge of working with RCRC movement either as a staff
∎ Fluency in English and Bangla.
