Background
Nagorik Uddyog is a national level human rights and development organization working in Bangladesh to promote social justice, strengthen democratic governance, and advance the rights of marginalized and excluded communities. The organization has designed a project titled ‘DISHA (Designing Inclusive Services through Human-centred Approaches)’ with the goal of strengthening inclusive, citizen-centered, and accountable public and CSO service delivery through mainstreaming the integration of Human Centered Design (HCD), co-creation, and a structured participation approach. The two-years long project will work on strengthening capacities of CSOs and government actors in Human-Centered Design; enabling stakeholders to jointly design and test solutions to real service challenges at local level; developing inclusive, citizen-centered service solutions and participation formats; fostering sustainable collaboration between CSOs, citizens, and government actors; and creating a network of HCD facilitators to apply and replicate the approach.
Job Summary
The Project Coordinator will coordinate overall operational management for the project. The position will ensure effective implementation of project activities related to participatory governance, citizen engagement, innovation processes, and public service improvement. The Project Coordinator will supervise project staff, maintain stakeholder relationships, and ensure compliance with donor and organizational requirements.

Reporting Relationship
The Project Coordinator will report to the Chief Executive of Nagorik Uddyog and work in guidance and in close collaboration with the Senior Program Manager and the Technical Advisor.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate overall planning, implementation, monitoring, and coordination of the project.
Coordinate preparation of workshop plans, agendas, facilitation processes, and participant management systems.
Coordinate project activities with consortium partners, CSOs, LGIs, and stakeholders.
Coordinate preparation of donor reports, presentations, and project documentation.
Lead project review meetings, planning sessions, and adaptive management processes.
Monitor project progress, risks, and implementation challenges.
Ensure integration of inclusion, accountability, safeguarding, and citizen participation principles.
Ensure timely delivery of project outputs and achievement of project indicators.
Oversee project budget utilization in collaboration with finance and administrative staff.
Ensure donor compliance, quality assurance, and risk management.
Prepare and review project reports, presentations, and donor updates.
Guide and facilitate the MEAL and communication team to capture data, produce knowledge products, reports, and communication products for promoting HCD in the mainstream development discourse.
Coordinate onboarding and engagement of CSOs selected from the NAGORIKATA grantee pool and partner network.
Coordinate implementation of HCD orientation sessions, facilitator development workshops, co-creation labs, service design sessions, immersion activities, and pilot interventions.
Supervise field implementation teams, facilitators, and operational staff during project execution.
Monitor implementation progress across multiple districts and stakeholders.
Coordinate with material development, MEAL, communication, finance, and HR teams for integrated implementation.
Ensure implementation quality and adherence to HCD principles across activities.
Lead review meetings and implementation reflection sessions with consortium partners and stakeholders.
Review and coordinate donor reporting, implementation updates, and project documentation.
Salary: Tk. 75000 - 80000 (Monthly) Two yearly bonus (equivalent to one month`s salary)
