Academic Qualification
Master’s in development studies or public health or social science or environmental science or civil engineering or Disaster Management or Public Administration or Economics or English or any related field (highly desirable).
Experience
Minimum 8 years Working Experience in:
Community/slum-based WASH, livelihood, education-based project intervention, Emergency Humanitarian Response and experience in working in Disaster Risk Reduction related project.
Practical skills in project implementation and project management, including social/community mobilization, report writing, financial management, and activity management.
Experience in adolescent and girls’ secondary education, particularly in supporting their retention and completion of the full secondary school cycle, protection risk identification & referral pathways.
Donor reporting experiences, budget tracking & burn rate monitoring and experience in indicator-based monitoring
Food Security and Livelihood, Shelter and Emergency Humanitarian Response and DRR related project will be considered as an added advantage.

Project Planning, Managing and Implementation-40%
Provide overall leadership for the project by managing the planning, budgeting, implementation, representation, coordination, monitoring, and development of high-quality reports.
Develop detailed implementation plans (DIP) in alignment with the Project Proposal (PP) and approved budget to ensure timely and effective completion of all project activities.
Oversee all field operations and ensure that project interventions are implemented efficiently and in accordance with organizational standards and donor requirements.
Education Related Activities:
Ensure transparent and appropriate selection of schools, students, and families to participate in the project.
Oversee the selection of eligible Rights Holders (RH) for cash grants to establish Income-Generating Activities (IGAs).
Ensure the effective establishment of IGAs at the household level to improve family livelihoods.
Conduct household visits to assess the well-being of selected students and support families in improving their lives and livelihoods.
Take initiative to provide need-based tutorial support to slow learners and ensure the identification of children with disabilities (PWDs), facilitating access to appropriate assistive devices.
Ensure installation and maintenance of hygiene facilities including MHM, health corner in targeted schools.
Take initiatives to strengthen and revitalize School Management Committees (SMCs) to enhance their participation in school improvement activities.
Conduct training sessions for different project participants and stakeholders as required by the project.
Ensure meaningful participation of community members and parents/guardians in school-level activities.
WASH Related Activities:
Lead planning, coordination, and implementation of all WASH interventions in schools, slums, and surrounding rural areas in line with project objectives and IRB standards.

Lead the design, development, and implementation of the project’s M&E framework, including indicators, data collection tools, methodologies, and reporting mechanisms.

Develop the project’s M&E plan, including monitoring schedules, baseline assessments, and endline surveys, and evaluation timelines.
Provide technical leadership in conducting baseline and endline studies and ensure the quality and accuracy of all research and evaluation activities.
Conduct regular monitoring visits to project sites to assess progress, identify bottlenecks, and recommend corrective measures.
