Responsibilities & Context:
To implement a quality program on projects by ensuring an effective monitoring system - 50%
Support project start-up activities including office set-up, planning, location selection, technical surveys, and beneficiary identification
Develop and implement monthly, weekly, and daily work plans to ensure timely and effective project implementation.
Provide technical guidance and supervision to field teams on shelter construction, NFI distribution, site development, and shelter repair/maintenance in camps and host communities.
Coordinate effectively with CiCs, government authorities, UN agencies, ISCG, INGOs, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of shelter activities
Prepare technical drawings, designs, environmental and social screening, and feasibility assessments for shelter, community infrastructure, and site development
Supervise and monitor the construction, rehabilitation, and renovation of shelters, health facilities, and community infrastructure, ensuring compliance with ISCG shelter guidelines and donor standards.
Develop and apply monitoring tools and evaluation techniques to ensure quality implementation and achievement.
Lead or support baseline, end-line, PDM, KAP, and other surveys, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Maintain comprehensive documentation, including tender documents, progress payments, beneficiary records, and project tracking systems.
Assist to project staff to maintenance and operation of bamboo treatment plant for smooth impletion
Coordinate with internal departments such as procurement, supply chain, finance, and logistics to facilitate project implementation and administrative processes.
Manage beneficiary selection processes, ensuring transparency and adherence to project criteria.
Provide leadership and capacity development to project staff, fostering a high-performing and collaborative team.
Oversee budget management, expenditure tracking, and financial monitoring, ensuring compliance with donor requirements and organizational policies.
Ensure proper inventory, stock management, and financial documentation, including verification of bills and vouchers before submission
Monitor project progress regularly and prepare technical and progress reports to ensure accountability, quality standards, and donor compliance.
Ensure that gender inclusion, environmental considerations, and accountability mechanisms are integrated into project implementation.
Capacity Building initiatives for beneficiaries and project staff at the program level - 15%
Organize and conduct project orientation for staff.
Prepare need-based assessment tools and provide training on that software to field-level staff, community mobilizers, and volunteers.
Conduct capacity-building training for project staff, volunteers, and beneficiaries through ISCG shelter guidelines.
Provide technical support to establish a community lead approach to shelter reconstruction.
Provide technical support to build their capacity for EVI & Female-headed family’s shelter reconstruction.
Participate in community awareness training, sessions, orientation, and feedback to mobilizers and facilitators.
Participate and facilitate project-related awareness-raising events
Develop and conduct training and orientation relevant to emergency humanitarian situations
Ensure Effective Monitoring, Evaluation, Problem-Solving, Reporting and Documentation - 15%
Prepare monitoring tools/checklist as per drawing and estimation of a specific intervention.
Prepare an efficient and effective stock monitoring system.
Review project-related crucial problems which are forwarded by the field staff and take the necessary step
Provide appropriate guidelines and monitoring tools for field staff
Need to handle multi-project activities at a time.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and final reports and meet deadlines.
Ensure comprehensive and effective coordination and advocacy with different stockholders -10%
Organize project inception meetings at different levels (Camp, Sector, Union, Upazila, district).
Participate in various coordination meetings e.i CiCs coordination meeting, shelter sector meeting, NFI & SD sector meeting, ISCG coordination meeting etc.
Liaise with partners, government representatives, donor agencies, and national and international NGOs to ensure smooth implementation of the project
Involve with relevant local administration and committees such as UDMC
Work alongside staff to build their capacity in program planning and design; program management; monitoring, and evaluation.
Ensure transparent coordination mechanisms and regular information-sharing between IR Staff.
Attend Program Review Meetings and coordinate with the other IRB staff
Organize lesson-learning workshops for further organizational development.
Organize project exit meetings at the community level and with LGIs.
Collect successful project completion letters form
Functional the complaint response mechanism (CRM) and feedback system - 5%
Ensure the CRM process at all stages
Maintain continuous orientation of staff on CRM process Ensure complaint log and register at project office level
Ensure the visibility of the project in different stages and level

Facilitate donor/external visits and ensure that visitor recommendations are addressed.
