Implementation of WASH & NFI activities and ensuring quality, standards and appropriateness - 50%
Provide technical leadership and oversight for implementation, construction, rehabilitation, repair, and maintenance of WASH infrastructure in Ukhiya camps and host communities.
Prepare detailed technical drawings, BoQs, cost estimates, environmental & social screening, and feasibility assessments for all WASH interventions.
Develop Project Implementation Plan (PIP), monthly, weekly, and daily work plans, and ensure systematic execution.
Supervise water supply systems, distribution networks, latrines, bathing cubicles, drainage systems, rainwater harvesting, fecal sludge management (FSM), and solid waste management (SWM) facilities, including plastic recycling and compost plants.
Ensure compliance with ISCG WASH construction guidelines, Sphere standards, donor requirements, and IRB policies.
Conduct periodic WASH materials market assessments and ensure cost-effective and quality procurement planning.
Develop quality monitoring checklists aligned with approved designs and BoQs.
Supervise beneficiary selection, ensuring transparency, inclusion of EVI, female-headed households, and persons with disabilities.
Coordinate preparatory activities including site selection, technical surveys, participatory planning and community consultation.
Act as a focal point for administrative coordination with procurement, supply chain, finance, and logistics units.
Verify bills, work completion certificates and payment documents prior to submission to finance.
Ensure proper stock management, asset tracking, and inventory documentation as per IRB policy.
Provide technical support for emergency WASH response and recovery operations.
Retrieve, analyze and present technical data related to infrastructure performance and project progress.
Ensure financial and logistics procedures comply with IRB accountability standards.
Maintain proper documentation for tendering, progress payments and project tracking systems.
Capacity Building initiatives for beneficiaries and project staff at the program level -15%
Organize and conduct project orientation for new project staff.
Prepare need-based assessment tools and provide training on that software to field-level staff, community mobilizers, and volunteers.
Conduct capacity-building training for field-level staff, volunteers, and beneficiaries following ISCG WASH guidelines.
Provide technical support to establish a community lead approach to WASH infrastructure reconstruction.
Provide technical support to build their capacity for EVI & Female-headed families’ WASH reconstruction.
Participate in community awareness training, sessions, orientation, and feedback to mobilizers and facilitators.

Develop and apply monitoring tools and quality control checklists
Conduct routine field monitoring to ensure quality, timeline and budget compliance.
Support baseline, end-line, KAP, PDM and technical assessments
Identify technical risks, bottlenecks and recommend corrective action
Manage multi-project implementation simultaneously with structured tracking.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and final technical reports as required
Provide regular progress and expenditure updates to the supervisor
Maintain systematic documentation (hard & soft copy) as per IRB archiving guidelines

Ensure comprehensive and effective coordination and advocacy with different stakeholders - 10%
Organize project inception meetings.
Participate in various coordination meetings e.i CiCs coordination meeting, WASH sector meeting, ISCG coordination meeting etc.
Liaise with partners, government representatives, donor agencies, and national and international NGOs to ensure smooth implementation of the project;
Participate in different meetings at the camp level/Cluster, NGO Coordination etc.
Involved with relevant local administration and committees such as UDMC in the implementation of the project
Work alongside staff to build their capacity in program planning and design; program management; monitoring, and evaluation.
Ensure transparent coordination mechanisms and regular information-sharing between IR Staff.
Attend Program Review Meetings and coordinate with the other IRB staff.
Organize lesson-learning workshops for further organizational development.
Organize project exit meetings at the community level and with CiC/LGIs.
Collect successful project completion letters from relevant authorities.
Functionally the complaint response mechanism (CRM) and feedback system - 5%
Ensure the CRM process at all stages of project.
