Job Context:
∎ Project Name : Leadership Embody Association Demanding to Ensure Rights (LEADER).
∎ Breaking the Silence is a non-profit, voluntary organization registered with the Department of Social Services (Registration No. 05037, Date: 17 October 2000) and NGOAB (Registration No. 1642, Date: 20 May 2001). The organization works to establish child rights, prevent child abuse and child sexual abuse, prevent child marriage, accelerate child-friendly good governance, improve the quality of education at the primary and pre-primary level, prevent violence against women, empowering children and women. The organization is going to implement a project named `Leadership Embody Association Demanding to Ensure Rights (LEADER). The project will be implemented by the support of `OXFAM-GB. BTS is going to recruit a `Project Coordinator` for the mentioned project and the position`s desk office at Sreemangal, Moulvibazar. The Contact Period of this position is 17 Months.
∎ Tenure of Services Contract:
∎ 3 (Three) months probation period. After successful completion of the probation period, based on the performance of the staff and recommendation from the supervisor, the post may be continued till the project`s lifetime.
∎ Job Area: Moulvibazar, Sylhet and Hobigonj district of Sylhet Division.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordination & Communication: 1. Communication and coordination with project management. 2. Coordination, liaison & networking with government representatives, local elected bodies, Tea Garden Association, Panchayet, valley and central committee leaders . Tea garden workers, national and international NGOs and others actors, 3. Regular visit at project sites/location, 6. Assist program staffs in planning, implementing and review of project activities, ensuring adherence to technical standards, learning and good practices.
∎ Project Implementation: 1. Coordinate to conduct the capacity-building needs assessment of women workers for building life skills for improving their life and workplace condition, 2. Organize and conduct training sessions on the life skills and issue related to improving working and living conditions for the women workers in the selected tea gardens. (using participatory techniques and methodology), 3. Organize and facilitate training session with tea garden women workers and adolescent girls on the life skills and issue related to improving working and living conditions for the women workers, 4. Organize and facilitate dialogue session with the government authorities, tea producers, managers, local government, adolescent girl and women workers Staff capacity development, 5. Support Cha Shramik Union to organize "Gender talk" once in a month, 6. Organize and facilitate trainings on negotiation skills, management and leadership for tea garden workers, 7. Provide Skills development training (IGA) for the Adolescent Girls with the support of relevant Government Department (DSS, MoWCA, Youth Development) by creating a referral pathways, 8. Provide support the Community initiated Cultural Groups to organize Cultural program (drama/song/dance) to raise awareness on Gender, Decent Work Place and on Prevention of VAW issues8. Capacity develop of project staff
∎ Finance and Administrative: 1. Maintain compliance, rules and regulations (financial and administrative) of organization, 2. Support to Accounts and Admin section in financial and logistics management, 3. Support to Accounts and Admin section in financial visit/audit.
∎ Monitoring & Evaluation: 1. Assist to develop tools and ensure proper use of those for M&E. 2. Coordination of baseline and final evaluation process, 4. Ensure that all components of the project is monitored and the results are evaluated in line with the indicators
∎ Reporting & Documentation: 1. Assist to prepare monthly, quarterly, half annual, annual and project completion report of the project, 2. Ensure quality of process and learning documentation.
∎ Others: Any other duties that may be assigned by the management of organization.

Additional Requirements:
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
∎ NGO
∎ Training design and facilitation and Capacity Development of Community
∎ Work experience with tea garden workers regarding social development and capacity building will give priority in selection process
∎ 4 years working experience of field level project management.
∎ Able to work under pressure and willing to frequent travel to three districts of working areas (Moulvibazar, Sylhet and Hobigonj)
∎ Knowledge in adolescent and women capacity development, ability to work under timeline, communication skills, strong partnership development skills, facilitating participatory training, conducting workshop, brain storming sessions, focus group discussions, simulation, seminars, meetings, strong interpersonal skills, team building capacity, problem solving skills, good writing and speaking skill in English, computer skills etc.
∎ At least two (2) years' experience to drive Motorcycle and have valid motorcycle driving license
∎ Good writing and speaking skills in English and Bangla.
∎ Must have computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Salary:
∎ Gross: Taka 50,691/= (Fifty Thousand Six Hundred Ninety One Only) 2 days weekend.

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Office time, Annual Leave, Increment & other facilities will be applicable as per 'Recruitment and Human Resource Management Policy' of Breaking the Silence and the facilities will be applicable also based on available resources in the project budget.
