Experience:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science / software engineering, or in a related field.

Competency requirement:

• Experience building complex Android Apps that have been successfully delivered to customers in an enterprise environment.

• Experience with third-party android libraries and APIs for both functionality and UX customization.

• Good understanding about SQL SERVER 2008/2012 or higher.

• Capability of writing complex SQL queries and Procedure/function.

• Experience in data cleaning, data analyzing using Stata/R will get preferences.

Additional requirements:

• Experience working both independently and within cross-functional teams.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent time management and ability to deliver on deadlines

Projahnmo Research Foundation (PRF) in association with Johns Hopkins University, USA has a long and illustrious history of conducting research in Bangladesh. PRF’s research has contributed to improvement of health of Bangladeshi citizens and has supported the career development of numerous Bangladeshi public health professional. PRF is seeking qualified and motivated applicants from Bangladeshi nationals for the position of Programmer.

Duty station: Sylhet Office.

Job Nature: Fixed term.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and test critical Android based applications.

• Develop responsive and reusable UI components and libraries for Android platform.

• Optimize mobile applications for better performance and user experience.

• Follow standards and best practices.

• Field visit to support research team

• Provide IT support and training.

• Perform any other job assigned by the Management.

Salary: 63,566/- per month including house rent and conveyance allowance and other admissible benefits,

Benefit: 12% retirement fund contribution by PRF will be given as per organizational policy.
