Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Communication and coordination with Upazila/district health staff as well as community leaders and Informal health care providers.
∎ Ensure the referral, transportation and initiation of treatment of complicated patients to the Upazila health complex or other government health facilities through coordination with local health staff.
∎ Prepare monthly action plan according to Malaria and TB programme guideline to oversee programme implementation in assigned areas.
∎ Perform community mobilization for active case finding, organize outreach centers, collection of samples and transport them to the nearby facilities for Xpert/ Truenat/ Microscopy testing.
∎ Perform contact investigation (CI) of bacteriologically-confirmed pulmonary TB patients (both DS-TB and DR-TB).
∎ Refer contacts of index cases to the physician for screening the eligibility of TPT and ensure enrolment.
∎ Ensure distribution of drug, diagnostics and Insecticide Treated Nets (ITNs) to the targeted community and social support for eligible TB patients.
∎ Follow-up of each patient and ensuring their visit to the physician after detected with TB and update the status as well as ensure DOT at the community.
∎ Organize social behavior change (SBC) events to the assigned area and proper record keeping.
∎ Ensure monthly report from health provider timely, and send to respective channel and online portal as per guideline.
∎ Practice and promote BRAC gender policy. Support implementation of gender equality and women empowerment at all levels.
∎ Ensure the safety of programme participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 18 years
∎ Expertise in community mobilization
∎ Computer proficiency in MS Word and Excel, internet browsing, email.
∎ Capable to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
∎ Excellent in working in team and excellent report writing skills
∎ Excellent Communication and Coordination skills
∎ Good in Time management
∎ Person with disability are encouraged to apply
