Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Graduate in any discipline from any reputed university with sound knowledge in Sewing in a Knit Garments Factory.
∎ Candidates having Textile Engineering background and experienced in other departments like cutting, finishing, quality, knitting, dyeing, etc would be given preference.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 10 to 12 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ A 100% Export Oriented Knit Composite Factory
∎ Job Location: Rajphulbaria, Savar, Dhaka

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop & lead the team for the smooth operation of the Sewing Section.
∎ Understand and maintain 100% compliance in Sewing operation and department.
∎ Prepare monthly/weekly production plan considering the shipment schedules.
∎ Train and develop the production team, manage and increase efficiency maintaining the quality for achieving operational sustainability.
∎ Attend PP meeting of each style/order and implement sewing guideline.
∎ Ensure smooth operation of the Sewing section by problem analysis, root cause identification and problem solving.
∎ Understand and maintain RQS, GPQ & QLP requirements.
∎ Keep liaison with the Merchandising Department, Production Head, Quality Manager, Dyeing and Finishing Department and others for day to day work.
∎ Scientific planning and follow up the production flow by and balancing the production lines to ensure optimum capacity utilization.
∎ Figure out deviations and assists in making rectification to future production plans based on the differences between planned and actual production in the past plan period.
∎ Bring sustainable efficiency improvements by identifying the bottlenecks and ensuring elimination of it.
∎ Interact with concerned department/section heads to identify and remove any obstacles to foster an efficient and value driven work culture.
∎ Provides the necessary leadership and guidance to key employees and top performers through mentoring and identification of best practices to enhance performance efficiencies.
∎ Ensures adequate motivation and retention of all employees under his command.
∎ Responsible for analyzing the workers performance and review operator skill level and ensure corrective action to train potential worker.
∎ Practical experience in monitoring performance, identifying & solving bottlenecks and engineering workstations.
∎ Must be practical and implement IE concepts to improve productivity.
∎ Ensure optimum utilization of man and machine.
∎ To review production plan with capacity & strength.
∎ Ensure line balancing as per layout, time and motion study for all styles,
∎ To evaluate and assess weekly machine & manpower requirement.
∎ To ensure that the daily planned target is achieved.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Understanding fully the RMG production System for Knit Fabric & Garments.
∎ Must be capable and experienced of planning, managing and controlling a production facility of minimum 15 Sewing Lines independently in a Knit Garments Factory.
∎ Must have strong leadership, management capability and target-oriented.
∎ Good communication skills in English and Bengali both in oral & written.
∎ Ability to work as a team leader and do multiple tasks simultaneously.
∎ Working experience in large Knit Composite Factory.
∎ Must be able to work using computers and good working Knowledge in ERP, MS word, Excel, Power Point and emailing.
∎ Should have knowledge in shade separation, shade integrity and shrinkage.
∎ Candidate having exposure to Lean Manufacturing will be given preference.
∎ Must have basic knowledge regards to production efficiency, manpower utilization and industrial engineering.
∎ Should be familiar with H&M, TCHIBO and SAINSBURY'S order procedures from fabric receive in cutting, input to sewing, finishing, quality and shipment.
